I could use this because my daughter is so creative and artistic, but she just doesn't value or practice subjects like spelling and grammar. She's young, but she makes great comics and graphic novels with talent beyond what you'd expect of a child her age. But when it comes to writing scene descriptions or verbal exchanges between characters, she has the vocabulary but her spelling, punctuation and grammar are terrible. Way below grade level. It's distracting and annoying to the reader. What's worse? She doesn't care. Really, she refuses to practice a skill needed for her art. Ugh!
