Today, I'm proud to introduce you to Karina of On a Whimsy. Karina is giving away one of her fantastic bottle cap necklaces. I had the opportunity to review one of these beautiful necklaces a few months ago. It's been a hit around here, and I know you'll love having one for yourself.My Review of On a Whimsy
I received a package in the mail from Karina at On a Whimsy. Inside was a gorgeous bottle cap necklace, personalized with my initial.
The first thing my daughter asked when she saw it was, "Is that for me?!" (That's what I get for naming her something that started with the same initial as my name!) She loved it so much that I allowed her to wear it to church that night. She couldn't wait to show it off! I heard many people give her compliments during the evening, and she just beamed over all the attention she and the necklace were getting.
You can tell that Karina puts her heart and soul into each piece. The necklace was flawless and expertly made. I've tried to make bottle cap items myself in the past and quickly gave up. The amount of time and tries it took me to get a perfected piece made me frustrated. Karina at On a Whimsy obviously has it down. She did an amazing job!
I browsed around the On a Whimsy website, and found some really cute items! Aside from the bottle cap necklaces, she also offers croc bows, key chains, photo bottle cap necklaces, polymer clay necklaces, and so much more! I absolutely love the zebra polymer clay necklace. Too cute!
I also noticed the Turner Syndrome Bracelet. Karina says on her website, "I have a daughter with Turner Syndrome. I made these bracelets to promote awareness for girls and women with Turner Syndrome. These bracelets are made of pink and clear glass beads with silver plated spacer beads and antiqued beads and clasp. They are adorned with a butterfly charm. The butterfly is the symbol for TS." What a beautiful way to promote awareness!
