Unique Personalized Cancer Awareness & Support
Through Beaded Jewels "Bracelets of Hope"
Lexi Butler certified jewelry designer/maker founder and owner of the online boutique Beaded Jewels has experienced the devastation of cancer, directly through her dad who was diagnosed in 2003 with stage four colorectal cancer. When she heard the devastating news from her mother over the phone, she took an emergency flight to Germany to see her father one more time...or so she thought.
Nothing c
ould prepare her for what she was about to see, once she reached her family’s home. The handsome man in stature had shriveled into this pale, bald, skinny, almost not recognizable human being...a picture that would stay with her for years to come. Today, her father is a six year survivor and they thank God for each day he gets to live.
During her life in Germany, she knew her dad not only as the father figure, but as the boss of his jewelry company. As she grew, she also learned the trade of goldsmith and jewelry design; she decided to become certified in both. For many years, she has wanted to help and make a difference, but did not quite know how to go about it.
As many people today, she was uninformed about the many types of main cancer alone that affect thousands of people everyday. She wanted to make a difference and help inform people and spread cancer awareness nationwide through a unique way - by designing and handcrafting each Beaded Jewels Bracelet of Hope with love. Knowing herself how devastating cancer is she wants to "Bring a Little Sparkle into Someone's Life" which is the motto behind these bracelets.
I can attest to the quality of the bracelets and the wonderful personalization options available. I own one of her designs. My Dad was diagnosed with and survived prostate cancer only to be diagnosed with colon cancer. He recently had surgery and is recovering. The picture below is one I took of the bracelet Lexi made for me in honor of my Dad (I apologize for the quality). If you know someone who has cancer, these bracelets make great gifts...or order one for yourself in honor of a friend or family member.

Hi, my name is Brandy! I'm a full-time wife and mommy to 4 beautiful Children ages 9,6,4,3 From the day my 1st son( that was 9 years ago) was born I knew I wanted to be home to take care of my family. I hoped for my husband to get a raise or a better job. I didn’t know how to take control and make it happen for my family. I needed a way to earn from home. I wasn’t able to find that until right before my Daughter was born that is my three year old. I was particular and wasn’t looking for anything that required people to spend money on stuff they didn’t need. With the economy right now most people are having a hard time just making it; they can’t afford nonessential items. I also knew up front I didn’t want to work with a MLM company or do parties. I knew in order to be successful I would need to find a company that was risk free, reputable & one that has been around for quite some time. I didn’t want any hidden fees, selling or any inventory. I wanted something anyone could do and something that didn’t have a huge investment involved! My last requirement was No Telemarketing. After a lot of searching I finally found a company that met all my criteria and more. Finding a company that has never been affected by a recession and actually grows during that time was a major bonus!
These are the things that I do right from my home: set appointments; market my free website (training provided); dial people into overview calls; set up online accounts; help others do what I do & earn residual income that grows every single month!! I started working this part time Three Years ago because I was working full time; so I had to fit it in where I could. I am now home full time! I’ve actually received Last year Over 45,000 , that was more then I was making in the corp. world. How you work this depends on your income goals, everything is month to month, no contracts or quotas and no monthly fees. I call the shots and still spend quality time with my family. If my daughter has a dance recital I don’t have to ask permission to leave work or take the day off. I can work completely around my family. When I started I was nine months pregnant, so I know anyone can do this. This is not a “get rich quick scheme”’ it definitely requires hard work and determination, but it is so worth it. It was scary looking for a legitimate company, but I found one that is making my family’s dreams come true. If you are in the same situation as I was and you'd like more information go to my website at: http:// www.workathomeunited.com/brandy
You can view the link that says view more and then if you would like me to contact you, please click the link that says Get More Info. Now! and give some basic information and I get back to you! It only takes 25 minutes to get you all the details on the company so you can decide if we are a good fit for you. We may or may not be what you are looking for, but at least you’ll know.

Work/Life Balance Part I - Love What You Do!
Being a work at home mom and/or dad can be challenging. There are a lot of things that require, even demand, you attention every day and most, if not all, of them are probably high on your priority list. It is easy to get burned out, discouraged and give up - don't!
One of the keys to being a successful work at home parent is to love what you do. You should be passionate about your work at home job or business.
For example, I have several things I am passionate about: family, helping parents work at home so at least one parent can be home full-time with their children, politics and writing. To tee myself up for success I have combined these passions - the way I have implemented them in my business is in a manner that they support each other.
Family is extremely important to me, as is helping parents work from home for the sake of their children. To combine these and have them work to support each other I did several things. The first is I partnered with an INC 500 company whose focus is enhancing people's lives by helping them attain their goals. They are privately held, have no debt, have an A++ rating and have been inducted into the BBB Hall of Fame. They have always been 'green' - long before it was 'en vogue'. Their sales have consistently grown every year regardless of the state of the economy due to their exceptional product line. This makes this a stable and reliable company to partner with and one I can confidently recommend to others.
Another way in which I can help parents work from home to be with their children is through the work I do with Our Milk Money (OMM) as their Director of Communications. Our Milk Money is a national search directory that lists ONLY self-employed parents. OMM is also a community resource dedicated to helping parents who want to stay at home find financial opportunities and support.
OMM's institutional ethos is built around a common goal to provide for our children. In this society, the average family is faced with a challenge to provide for their families with no less than two incomes, and are sacrificing their commitment to raising their own children. As a result, many parents are forced to give the people they work for more of a commitment than they are able to give their children.
OMM envisions a situation in which we are able to reinvent ourselves as parents and entrepreneurs, and where we are able to adequately embrace our family values and support one another by working towards a lasting solution. OMM's rationale is based on a concept that brings the community of self-employed parents together: by purchasing only each other's products and services and by promoting our unity as an organization. OMM wishes to see a vibrant change in the choices we make as consumers, to appreciate the VALUE of what we purchase, and to support the parents who have chosen to earn alternative revenue for their family by working for themselves.
Another passion of mine is writing. I love sharing what I have learned with others - it's always good to be able to learn from others...it can increase our learning curve and productivity! I am passionate about our country...the companies I have partnered with are great examples of the ethics and moral values I share. I combine my love of country and helping others with my love of writing.
An additional way I combine all of these passions is by featuring work at home parents on my Buy By Mom Blog. I also review their wonderful products. I get to write and they get the benefit of free publicity!
All of these are things I love to do. I am passionate about them. Doing what you are passionate about helps me to keep going even in the face of challenges and challenging times. In fact, when you are passionate about what you do, those challenges can even spur you on to further success...they do for me!
If you are stuck in a job or business that you are not loving but need to help support you and your family here's a suggestion: while you working at that job or business out of necessity, continue to search for something that ignites passion in you. Don't give up on that...it may take a while but with persistence you can find it!
Said Albert Schweitzer: "Success is not they key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful."
Here's to your success!

Ally Loprete of Our Milk Money and This Little Parent Stayed Home

In 2008, Ally founded the widely popular OurMilkMoney.com, an online search directory that lists the products and services of self-employed parents in more than 80 cities across the nation. Through her own passion to create a society where parents are given an alternative to expensive daycares and long hours away from home, Ally has helped to inspire a movement that has parents everywhere realizing their power as consumers, and uniting together to rebuild a broken economy with home based businesses. Ally Loprete has been featured in nationally in Magazines such as Working Mother Magazine, in trades such as the Los Angeles Daily News and ABC TV's Eye Witness News, and in a great deal of internet media including The Business Opportunities Weblog, Divine Caroline, Motherhood Incorporated, WorkItmom, Work at Home Success, and The Mommy Reporter, to name just a few.
Originally occupying a career in the Entertaining Industry, and with a background and education in the Performing Arts, Ally's career and public personality first began to take shape by her success with her various roles in hundreds of theatrical productions, television and film. She spent years entertaining her public across the country by singing, story telling, and acting. An advocate of Outreach for today's youth, Ally led Improvisation Workshops to troubled teenagers residing at the Los Angeles Youth Network, The Santa Clarita Community Center and Shooting Stars Center. She had a successful extended run of her Solo written and performed show "Chasing Ally", At Circle X's Theatre in Hollywood, and is now a known motivational speaker to many women's groups across the country.
Ally's determination to help other parents transition from full time working parent to successful self-employed parent has grown from her own experiences. Prior to becoming a self-employed parent, Ally spent several years in various creative roles at ABC Television on the Disney lot, and although her time there was rewarding and plentiful, it wasn't until her first son was born that she came to realize her true calling in life. Returning to work with knots in her stomach from dropping her newborn off at a poorly run home daycare, she became determined to find a way to better her family's situation. Ally's determination was fueled by her love of her children and her passion for helping others, and it ultimately led to her success as a self-made, stay-at-home mom and entrepreneur.
She is determined to help other's deal with the sometimes overwhelming prospect of starting a new business while still running a household, and is resolute about creating a haven in which parents across the nation will continue to thrive and will get the support they need in their personal journeys. To that end, Ally hosts a weekly radio show: This Little Parent Stayed Home.

Claudia Beck, Artist, Graphic Designer and Business Owner

Helping Other Business Owners is Claudia Beck's Passion
Claudia Beck is a lifelong artist, graphic designer and business owner. Having worked for other companies her entire career, when she became a Mom just over 10 years ago, she decided to leave the work force. Claudia wanted to and felt she needed to stay home and work. This way she could have the time to be "Mom": the one to take care of and teach her son about life, be there when he needed a hug, a kiss and a playmate too.
While continually doing freelance graphic design during this "post employee" lifestyle she also dabbled with a variety of costly and unsuccessful direct sales companies, money-making programs and other financially draining systems, so she set on a quest to develop her own business, which turned out to be businesses. These could then be based on what she really wanted to do anyway therefore much more worthy of the time it took her to develop and run them.
Because of learning from her mistakes and taking a lot of time to make those mistakes too -- her 10 years as an online marketer and business owner has actually paid off. She has owned and run a variety of niche sites, headed up business networks, written countless articles on a variety of topics and is a huge participator and advocate of affiliate marketing.
~ *~
Claudia says, "Way back when -- in the middle of my career -- I pined away wishing I had chosen a different one because I felt that as a mere graphic designer working for someone else, I was not helping others to the extent that I wanted to nor felt that I could do. But now, with my current businesses I am able to comprehensively help other business owners and those who want to be, in a variety of personal, hands on ways. This is what I truly LOVE to do."
"I have been fortunate enough to take on this endeavor during an amazing technological time in history. With the advent of the internet and all of our other technological advances that we are experiencing over the last 15 or so years, it has enabled me to help folks all over the world from my simple little Studio based out of my home. I never would have imagined having a client base that circled the globe! Not only do I have clients world-wide, but many great new business partners and 'dear to me' friends from every corner of the earth as well. What a fantastic time it is to start a business -- own a business -- work to grow a business! I am blessed to be a part of it and even more so to be situated that I can help others do the same."
~ *~
Her current portfolio of businesses includes Sunflowers and Seagulls Promotional Services (http://make-me-seen.com) which provides its clients with creative and custom web and print design for all of their advertising, marketing and corporate identity needs. These services help others build a professional and memorable presence for their own businesses.
Claudia also owns WAHM-Trade Website Traffic Services (http://wahm-trade.com). An online advertising service for home-based and small business owners providing them with a variety of targeted and unique venues to drive traffic and potential sales to their websites.
In addition to the above businesses, Claudia also offers Private Coaching services for Ventrino® Traffic Exchange owners (http://www.make-me-seen.com/VNC_Splash1.html) helping them to set up their own online advertising services and get them running quickly, properly and professionally.
Claudia's ultimate goal with these companies is to consolidate them all into one comprehensive business promotions service under her Sunflowers and Seagulls Promotional Services umbrella. She is planning to add other much needed services for business owners such as website hosting and providing them access to 3rd party services such as commercial printing.
Claudia also very much enjoys writing as a way of transferring knowledge to others. She is a published author with Evan Carmichael for their Women Entrepreneurs department (http://www.evancarmichael.com/Women-Entrepreneurs/3329/summary.php). She also writes for article directories and has written numerous articles for her own websites and blog on a variety of topics.
Claudia concludes, "I try to, and LOVE to, meet all of my clients and potential clients personally however possible. So whether it's via an instant chat session, through a computer voice service such as Skype (http://www.jdoqocy.com/8o121kjspjr69EB9CAD687CED8FF) or face to face I try to be as accessible to my clients as possible."
